A very wide range of interests and discipline areas was represented by the scientists at the meeting and we particularly welcomed colleagues from the Universities and other Government Research Organisations who joined and lent their expertise.
The central theme of the 2004 workshop was INTERACTION & LINKAGE across the breadth of CSS experience represented.

Interaction Task Development (1/2 day sessions)
Development of a small set of tasks (researchable CSS questions) that will be used to link activity in different CSS application areas and facilitate knowledge exchange across the different CSS approaches and perspectives. The Interaction Task areas are
Each convener will be initiating e-mail/web-based discussion prior to the workshop. Workshop sessions will aim to develop a key question or two in each area, which will become the focus of the IT activity following the workshop.
